Ulrik Munther Letter #33

Dear Ulrik Munther:

Well, I found the music video of yours for your song Requiem and I have a lot to say. Let me attempt to sum it up in one sentence. It's awesome, love the story line, and it's about freaking time! Seriously, I couldn't find any new videos of you and I was really worried. I thought you melted off the face of the earth or something (a little exaggeration on my part, but that's how I felt).
Still, I kept on searching youtube everyday and finally I saw it.
For anyone reading this letter, from now on it will be all spoiler alert about the music video. So if you want to watch it I will have it posted up the Requiem video soon enough.
Now Ulrik here is what I see as awesome about the video. You're not afraid to break the boundaries and show people how human you really are. Some people think it's too risky to have their life splayed out (even in songs) but you're willing to take in all of the risks. And guess what...you receive the most rewards because of that and I am so proud of you.
        VIRTUAL HUG!!!!!!!!
Oh, and boy do I love the story line. I really was jumping up and down as I said to myself, "Now here is a story worth talking about." Even though the story is tragic it makes people feel something. It makes people want more for themselves and to free themselves from unhealthy emotional entanglements. Pretty much, this song gives people hope for a fresh start in where ever their pursuits carry them on to.
As for my "it's about freaking" time remark...I will explain. I really was worried when the only videos I could find was badly shot videos of girls at your concerts. Let's just say that the sound on those videos mostly depict screaming girls who I'm assuming are having baby heart attacks (how can you stand it?). So yes, I was overjoyed when I saw this video.
Welcome back Ulrik Munther and just be you because you're awesome. ;)

Sincerely,
-Michelle Brown

Tell the World I'm here Live @ Jenny Stromstedt video

Hi everyone! Long time no see! Anyway here is a fabulous video of Ulrik Munther singing, "Tell the world I'm here" Live at Jenny Stromstedt. Enjoy!

Ulrik Munther Letter #32

Dear Ulrik Munther:

Okay, I've probably said it once, but I'm going to say it again...and maybe ten million more times after that. Here it is: I love when you sing acoustically. I think it's because I hear more of your voice that way and I can hear the feeling in your voice more. Like when you sang "Tell the world I'm here" three weeks ago live at Jenny Stromstedt.
I heard your voice and I picked on every whisper, guitar strum, and of course every time you sang the chorus with immense feeling. Truly, I think this is an awesome live performance and seriously Ulrik. I'm just waiting for you to make more appearances and -- this can't be just me saying this -- more music videos.
Although I do have a question about the song, "Tell the world I'm here." In your point of view what is the song really saying? In my eyes I already know you're here. And even though I am one human being among billions, that has to count for something doesn't it.
I along with your fans all know you're here and we love your music and your voice so much. Please continue singing, smiling, and just being alive in general.

Sincerely,
-Michelle Brown

Also, I bet a lot of your international fans are wondering if you're going to do an international tour sooner or later. If you did me and a lot of your fans would be psyched!
So happy trails on your rooftop tour and here is an invisible high five to many more tours for the future.

Ulrik Munther English ESCxtra interview

Hello Everyone! I just found an English interview that Ulrik Munther did with ESCxtra during Melodifestivalen 2013. Here it goes!!!! Just click on the link!!!!!!

Ulrik Munther Letter #28

Dear Ulrik Munther:

I have watched the English interview you did with ESCxtra, and I'm pleased at how you handled it. Oh, and don't you dare think for a moment that you are similar to that Justin Beiber. Justin Beiber is messing up his life but you are currently fulfilling yours.
Your unique in your own way.
And unlike Justin Beiber, your songs actually have depth and meaning to them. Anyway, I loved this interview and I'm going to post it on this blog so your many fans (including myself) can watch it over and over again with a smiles on our faces. Have an awesome April and I know this is past due but....HAPPY APRIL'S FOOLS DAY!!!!!

Sincerely,
-Michelle Brown

Ulrik Munther 8:45 Lyric Video

Hello Everybody! Here is another song from Ulrik Munther's new album 'Rooftop' called, "8:45". I really hope you enjoy the song as much as I had! ;D

Ulrik Munther Letter #27

Dear Ulrik Munther:

Well, I listened to your song 8:45 and I love it! Seriously, the lyrics are the epitome of the meet cute phenomenon--when a guy and girl meet unexpectedly in a positive light. My point is, I love this song so much I am seriously anticipating the music video and more importantly - who will be the mystery girl in said possible video.
Yes I really want to know this. And me as well as most of your fans are probably wondering why the only video you have a girl in the video is the one with Caroline Costa?
Personally, I love a good music video with a story. Even though your video's have stories they don't have the other character or character's explained in the song. Just some food for thought on this matter. Overall, I love this song and I want justice done to it...hence, the music video.

Sincerely,
-Michelle Brown

Ulrik Munther Crash Test Dummy Lyric Video

Hello Everyone! Here is another song from Ulrik Munther's new Album Rooftop called, "Crash Test Dummy." Enjoy!

Ulrik Munther Letter #26

Dear Ulrik Munther:

I'm glad that you placed in the top three for the 2013 Melodifesitvalen. In my opinion,  you should have won. I wasn't at all captivated by the song "You". It was too slow and the message of the song seemed overly redundant.
Your song on the other hand really made me want to do more with my life. Every song you wrote makes me rethink my various actions. Still, I'm proud of you Ulrik. And I can't wait to see what else comes your way. Because I do know something that all of your fans know as well...you will go far and people will know who you are Ulrik Munther.

Sincerely,
-Michelle Brown

Ulrik Munther Requiem Lyric Video

Hi Everybody! Here is a lyric video of Ulrik Munther's song called, "Requiem" from his new album called "Rooftop." Enjoy!

Ulrik Munther Letter #25

Dear Ulrik Munther:

I love your song, "Requiem" from your new album called Rooftop. I guess what I and what a lot of Americans would kind of be amazed at is that you used your first curse word in a song. It's not a bad thing as long as you don't do it in every song. If you use the occasional curse word sparingly like you're doing now, then it's okay.
This song got stuck in my head not because of the curse word, but because of the message. Change can be a scary thing, but it's also something worth doing.

Sincerely,
-Michelle Brown

Ulrik Munther "Tell the World I'm Here" Live Video

Hello everyone! Here is the video where Ulrik Munther sings, "Tell the World I'm Here," live at Melodifestivalen 2013.

Ulrik Munther Letter #23

Dear Ulrik Munther:

I watched your "Tell the world I'm here" when you sang in the Melodifestivalen 2013 and I love it! Even though I like your hats, I think you would look great without one too. Just remember to say "screw you" to anyone who doesn't like the way you dress and are because that is their problem.
At the end of the day, you can only be yourself and nothing else. I really hope you win the Melodifestivalen 2013 this year. You deserve it because you have worked hard for it. All of us will be cheering you on. Good luck!!!!

Sincerely,

Video of Ulrik Munther Interview with Muppet Terry Vision

Hello fans! Here is a video of Ulrik Munther and muppet Terry Vision having a quick interview. Watch and enjoy!

Ulrik Munther Letter #22

Dear Ulrik Munther:

I absolutely loved the short brief interview you had with muppet character, "Terry Vision." Honestly, it made me laugh because it was so sweet and so funny at the same time.
As for your song, "Tell the World I'm here," I'm happily surprised. The titled sounded kind of self-centered to be honest, but the words of the song speak of being a contributor to the world...something which everyone should try to do at one point in their life or another. Overall, I really hope you do well this year for the 2013 Melodifestivalen. Good luck, and I can't wait until your Rooftop album comes out on March 6th!

Sincerely,
-Michelle Brown

Poem by an Ulrik Munther Fan (Copyrights go to fan)

Scanning through youtube and what do I find?
This amazing young kid whose voice blew my mind.

The songs have such depth for someone so young,
I loved every word, every note that he sung

Words wise and insightful with a voice ringing true,
I watched every day as his fans grew and grew.

Now the world watches as you turn nineteen,
We’ll be watching where you go after seeing where you’ve been.

You were born for music and meant for stardom and fame,
Soon the whole world will know your name.

So have an awesome birthday,
You’ve come so far.
By this time next year,
You’ll be a global star.

Remember your fans love you and have yourself a beer,
For it’s almost time for you to tell the world you’re here.

Ulrik Munther Interview in English Video

Hey all English speaking fans (or people who can read japanese) here is an English interview with japanese subtitles of Ulrik Munther. Enjoy!

Ulrik Munther Letter #19

Dear Ulrik Munther:

I just found an interview in English. Can I just say as a girl who was born and raised in the U.S. of A, that you're English is fantastic. And even though your accent is strong don't be ashamed of it.
My Mom has a strong accent too because she was born and raised in Mexico. However, her English is fantastic just like yours. Keep up the good work and if someone points out your accent...just tell them, "Talk to the hand". It's effective.

Sincerely,
-Michelle Brown

Boys Don't Cry Live Video

Hi fans! Here is the live version of Ulrik Munther's song "Boys don't cry." Enjoy!

Ulrik Munther Letter #18

Dear Ulrik Munther:

As I have said in some of my past letters to you on this blog, I'm not a big fan of the harmonica. However, since I love to hear when you sing live I like the live version of your song, "Boys Don't Cry".
Now, my opinion is one opinion. I might not like the harmonica bits of your songs but I can't speak for your other fans. However, I still believe that you don't need the harmonica for your songs to be great. Your voice makes your songs great. It's you. Although I must admit seeing videos on youtube of you singing "Boys don't cry" live is awesome.
Keep it up, and I look forward to hearing more awesome music from you in this new year.

Sincerely,
-Michelle Brown

Funny Moments Video of Ulrik Munther

Hi everybody! Here is some funny moments of Ulrik Munther which I believe all fans will love!

Ulrik Munther Letter #17

Dear Ulrik Munther:

I wanted to say that finding your funny reel on line was kind of awesome! I enjoyed watching you try riding a unicycle and performing on the street.
Most people who are fans (and unfortunately this happens to me too) forget their favorite singers are just as human as everyone else. Seriously, I wish I found the funny reels earlier. It's good as someone who is in the public eye, you aren't afraid to laugh at yourself. Not only does it give you a more down to earth quality, but it also makes me and your fans relate to you more. It's great!

Sincerely,
-Michelle Brown
