Live Holiday Performance of San Francisco Says Hello and Shine a Light (Swedish Version).
Hi everybody! Sorry I didn't post in a while. Holidays and stuff. But I just found something of Ulrik Munther's just in time for the new year! Check out this video and enjoy.
Ulrik Munther Letter #16
Dear Ulrik Munther:
I saw your performance of "San Francisco Says Hello" and the Swedish version of "Shine a Light" for the holidays and I loved your performance. In fact, I really do love when you go acoustic on your songs because when you sing, me and your fans can hear you more.
Keep up the good work, and happy new year!
Sincerely,
-Michelle Brown

Ulrik Munther Letter #15
Dear Ulrik Munther:
At first, I thought the song "Luckiest Girl" was yours. Seriously, you really make the song your own. And when I heard the Vinsten version, I really didn't like the original version. I liked yours, and I would love it if you wrote songs similar to the rhythm of "Luckiest Girl."
Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas Ulrik. Me and all of your fans love your music and hope to hear more from you.
Sincerely,
-Michelle Brown

San Francisco Says Hello Music Video
Here is the music video of Ulrik Munther's "San Francisco Says Hello." Enjoy!!!!
Ulrik Munther Letter #14
Dear Ulrik Munther:
I just watched the official video for your song "San Fancisco Says Hello". I wasn't a big fan of the chime/piano parts of the song at first, but I guess you could say I learned to love it. And as for your voice, so beautiful it almost had me crying. Sorry if I made you blush saying that but I don't lie about stuff like that.
And your voice sounds so full of emotion. Really, bravo. And I'm kind of glad that this song doesn't have the harmonica bit.
Just as an afterthought though...the chimes/piano sound parts in the song I learned to love, but I'm not sure about other people. So keep that in mind.
Sincerely,
-Michelle Brown
P.S. Deny it all you want dude, but you so have a secret girlfriend somewhere.

My Own Little Heaven Lyrics Video
Here is the Lyrics Video of Ulrik Munther's "My Own Little Heaven". Enjoy!
Ulrik Munther Letter #13
Dear Ulrik Munther:
There are some fans--including myself--who absolutely love your song "My own little heaven", and were heartbroken it wasn't in your album. So, I think you should totally put that song in your next album.
Speaking of...are you working hard on your next album? I have to know, the suspense of waiting is kind of killing me softly. Please let me--as well as the rest of your fans who check out this blog--know what's up with that. We support you, and can't wait until the 2013 Melodifestivalen. Rock on, and good luck.
Sincerely,
-Michelle Brown

Okay everybody. Tell me if Bridgit Mendler should or should not sing a song with Ulrik Munther. Your Opinion Matters!!!!!
Ulrik Munther Letter #12
Dear Ulrik Munther:
I found another singer you could partner up for a song with....Bridgit Mendler! I know, she's from disney originally, but she has a good soulful voice. One which would be perfect for someone of your musical genre.
Seriously, listen to this song of her called "Ready or Not".
The choice is yours Ulrik.

Fake It Sound Video
Here is Ulrik Munther's song "Fake it". And please comment about whether you like the harmonica bit in the song or not. Your opinion matters!
Ulrik Munther Letter #11
Dear Ulrik Munther:
All right. Your song called "Fake it," I love...BUT...the harmonica is driving me nuts. The last bit where the harmonica was put isn't necessary. A part of me thinks you believe the harmonica would go perfectly with your newspaper boy look. However, this isn't the 20th century. This is the 21st century and the harmonica isn't a common instrument heard. So...my point is, to be wary about the harmonica.
And in my opinion, the song "Fake it" doesn't need the harmonica part in the song. In fact, it would be perfect without the harmonica. So, try it out without the harmonica. Pretty please with a strawberry on top.
Sincerely,
-Michelle Brown

Alburn Road Video (full song)
This is a full length video of "Alburn Road" as sung by Ulrik Munther.
Ulrik Munther Letter #6
Dear Ulrik Munther:
I love your song fool--minus the harmonica. I feel like the song doesn't need the harmonica to make a musical impact. The lyrics and your voice makes the song stand on it's own two feet. So please, if you could take that harmonica bit out and replace the pause with some other kind of instrument...that would be awesome.
Currently, your song sounds like this:
Now, try and imagine the song without the harmonica to it...It's still awesome. Because, it's your voice which makes the song unique and gives the song a signature of sorts. So, give it a shot without the harmonica and see what happens. Sometimes, you have to make a leap of chance in order to know whether something is worth it or not.
Sincerely,
-Michelle Brown

Ulrik Munther Letter #5
Dear Ulrik Munther:
When you do collaborations with other singers, it's awesome! For example, when you sang "Je t'ai Menti" with Caroline Costa. So the other day, I was thinking. What kind of English song collaboration could you do? And I found her. The next singer in which you should totally collaborate with...Celeste Buckingham.
She's a seventeen year old girl who is from Slovakia, and she currently lives in Nashville, Tennessee in the United States. And the best part is...I know which one of her songs you can collaborate with her. The song is called, "Hello Stranger."
Here is a video of the current song with only Celeste Buckingham's voice:
I even wrote out a lyric collaboration idea of 100% the lyrics of the song!:
CELESTE:
My debts and my dues
I have no regrets
But you haven’t caught me in no not in bed
But I have no excuse
Except hold
me and tell me
That you’ll
be here to love me
Every night
And that somehow you’ll miss me
And all of my fooling around and fights
Our love is
bittersweet it’s tasty but it’s weak
The morning
kiss you give still burns me on my cheek
No I don’t need a mother I don’t a brother
Telling me what to do
But this don’t matter—hello stranger.
ULRIK:
I must
confess that you are still the best
Cause’ the rest don’t love me like you do
But this pain in my chest
That I feel when I undress
You got me thinking of you
Oh what should I do?
It was easy before you said you loved me
That’s just sad
Now I want you to hate me
And tell me you’re angry
When I’m bad
I’m bad…
I’m bad…
Our love is
bittersweet its tasty but it’s weak
The morning
kiss you give still burns me on my cheek
No I don’t need a mother I don’t need a brother
Telling me what to do
But this don’t matter—hello stranger.
CELESTE:
No matter what I say, you let me have my way
I wake up to your face every morning
The sun is in my eyes exposing my disguise
I’m hating what I’ve become oh
I’m a creature of the night and I hate myself for
Needing you
CELESTE
& ULRIK:
It’s bittersweet it’s tasty but it’s weak
The morning kiss you give still burns me on my cheek
No I don’t need a mother you are my lover
And I’m always goin’ back to you
But this don’t matter—hello stranger.
CELESTE:
Our love
Is sweet
It’s strong
But we
Don’t need
No one
No one
No more

Hello stranger.
I am serious when I say you should totally sing this song with her. Both of you are around the same age, from different countries, and aspiring to make it in on the english singing scene. This song can boost the both of you up in your careers. You'd be helping each other so it would be as Americans say a, "Win-Win."
Sincerely,

Dear Ulrik Munther:
Hey, me again. I just want to comment on your new remixes from your first album...not a big fan...at all! I love the originals because I can hear more of you in them and with the techno-babble, it throws me off in a bad way.
So in truth, don't touch the songs from your first album. They're beautiful the way they are. Two exceptions are the two songs with the harmonica, but besides that I love the original versions of your songs. No techno. Just you.
Sincerely,
-Michelle Brown

Ulrik Munther Letter #3
Dear Ulrik Munther:
Hey, I was wondering. I heard that for the 2013 Melodifestivalen you will be performing a song called, "Tell the World I'm here." What I, as well as other Ulrik Munther USA fans might like to know is what is the story behind your song choice?
Oh, and this other question comes strictly from me. Will this song have harmonica? I really hope that this new song will have more of your voice and the guitar if possible. Really, you're voice is fantastic and you're guitar playing is stellar. I absolutely adore your acoustic guitar. Like the video you did of "San Francisco says hello." That I love, but I don't love when the techy stuff got added. To me, it was kind of a turn off. However, I love this version here:
This version is more you Ulrik. It's more the down to earth persona which you portray and all of your fans (including me) like about you. Just some food for thought.
Sincerely,
-Michelle Brown

Ulrik Munther Letter #2
Dear Ulrik Munther:
Hi, I just wanted to say congratulations on your single based on your song "Kill for lies" called "Je t'ai Menti". The collaboration that you did with french singer Caroline Costa was fabulous. Which is why I have to ask? Is she your girlfriend?
Now, I'm not asking this because I'm some crazy stalker fan girl. I'm asking because in the video of "Je t'ai Menti" you look so amazing together. Despite your differences in language and birthplace, I think that you two would make such an adorable couple. Oh, and to put a little bit more proof of how I think you guys are really cute for each other, I'm going to put up the video where you and her sang "Je t'ai Menti" live. Here goes:
Need I say more?
Sincerely,
-Michelle Brown

Letter for Ulrik Munther #1
Dear Ulrik Munther:
My name is Michelle Brown and I'm the girl who created the Ulrik Munther USA blog. I love your music because the lyrics are so truthful and they speak to me. However, I do have something that I would like to address.
Now, I assume that you obviously made an album in English because you wanted to appeal to an English Speaking audience. And since I happen to come from one of the largest English speaking countries I must say something....Lose the Harmonica.
I'm telling you to lose the Harmonica because I want you to make it in the English Speaking world and in the USA, the singers don't use the harmonica in their music. I'm saying this because you have talent, and I want to see you make it. I love the way you sing soulfully, how you dress like a newspaper boy from the olden days (keep that look, that's your signature), and also how you are passionate about your music. Just the harmonica....it throws me off a bit in a bad way.
You're competition is a little different in the USA. The two main competitors you should look out for is Andy Grammer and Bruno Mars. Those guys are soulful singers too, and they write their own music like you do as well. Study them.
Here's a link to Andy Grammer's latest called miss me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X3tldsg1Yt4
Here's a link to Bruno Mars latest called locked out of heaven: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-fA-gBCkj0
These two are your competition, but when it comes to girl fans and their comparisons of singers around the same age...it's you and Justin Beiber.
Personally, I'm not a Justin Beiber fan, but a lot of girls in the U.S.A. are. They will unavoidably be comparing you and him because you guys are around the same age. So, be prepared for that as well. Especially when it comes to singing in the United States of America.
Sincerely,
-Michelle Brown
